Morning Glory,
(Ipomoea plummerea)
The Morning Glory
is a spreading herb in bloom from June-October
in the Coniferous forests of southern Arizona. It is of the genus
Ipomoea
meaning wormlike and are plants of warm regions, like the tropics.
One of
the best known species is the Sweet Potato (I.batatas) of Mexico.
